Waterproofing Solutions for a Wet Basement

basement waterproofing wet basementPro Foundation Technology offers several waterproofing solutions in the Kansas and Missouri area such as:

  • Interior Waterproofing: Interior waterproofing is the installation of a perforated drain pipe that is installed inside the perimeter of the footing. This drain pipe is then attached to a sump pump system and drains the water away from the foundation.
  • Exterior Waterproofing: Exterior waterproofing stops water from ever accumulating around the foundation. This system consists of a waterproofing membrane, drainage board and a 4″ perforated drain pipe that is installed around the exterior of the footings.
  • Surface Drainage/Water Collection:  This system consists of catch basins, channel drains, pop-up emitters, drainage piping, atrium grates, and drywells. All of these components are used to prevent stormwater drainage problems. They collect the excess rainwater and move it away from the foundation.
  • Sump Pumps and Pits: Pro Foundation Technology uses heavy-duty sump pumps that discharge the water away from the foundation. Our sump pumps are 1/3 to 1/2 horsepower and can pump up to 5,000 gallons per hour. We also have battery backup sump pumps that will take over in case of a power outage.
  • French Drain System:  Drain tiles with perforations and gravel allow water to flow through freely. These systems are also used to remove excess water.
  • Crawlspace Encapsulation: Pro Foundation Technology uses only the very best vapor barriers to encapsulate your crawlspace and keep it moisture free. These vapor barriers are 10 and 16 mil thick and are puncture resistant.
