Epoxy Crack Repair

(Polyurethane Injection - stops water leaks!)
We can fill those cracks in your basement!

Epoxy resins are a special chemical formulation capable of (when mixed with a curing agent) converting to a solid form that, among other uses, can be injected into cracks in your foundation walls resulting in the filling of those cracks. The solid form can be up to 4 times as strong as the concrete!

Epoxy injection can be effectively used to weld cracks in concrete and can extend the useful life of your concrete. The epoxy is mixed according to strict specifications and injected through drilled holes that intersect the crack. Pro Foundation Technology has trained professionals that will make sure that any epoxy crack repair is done correctly.

Some of the advantages of epoxy and polyurethane injection:
• Strong bond; epoxy is a powerful adhesive
• Works with a number of different materials
• Minimal shrinkage
• Can be implemented in cold or wet conditions
• Moisture tolerant
• Bond maintains it strength up to around 180°F

Polyurethane Injection
Pro Foundation Technology uses Hydrophilic Polyurethanes to stop water leaks in cracks. Hydrophilic resins seek out water in cracks. They chase the water and absorb into the tight micro-cracks and pores of the concrete forming a tenacious bond to the wet concrete. Polyurethane resins are most commonly used for water control. These resins form foams, gels, and solids. Polyurethanes form a strong bond that is controllable, chemically resistant, expansive, and capable of adhering to both wet and dry surfaces.

Concrete expands and contracts with changes in temperature. In the summer temperatures rise, concrete expands, and cracks tighten up. In the winter when temperatures fall, concrete contracts, and cracks open up. S
ome companies use a product that may not properly bond to wet concrete, and/or will not allow for expansion and contraction of the concrete. If that is the case a few months down the road the cracks will reopen and create a gap between the concrete and the foam . . . allowing water to seep back through. That's why we highly recommend that you have repairs done correctly the first time.
