What’s the difference between mudjacking with Mud/Clay and Slurrys?
| 1. |
Mud/Clay will never set up like a Slurry because the existing cement doesn’t have anything to bond with.
| 2. |
Mud/Clay is pumped with more water which creates a weaker material. This results in erosion and early movement of the concrete. More water is never a good thing if you want the material to set up properly.
| 3. |
Mud/Clay can not handle the compression load that a Slurry can.
| 4. |
With Mud/Clay, soils stick to the bottom of your concrete. Slurrys do not have this problem.
| 5. |
Because Mud/Clay is organic, they have a very high recall rate due to erosion and the breaking down of the soil. Continued erosion occurs because the existing cement has nothing to bond with. Our slurrys are very unlikely to ever wash away or break down.
| 6. |
Mud/Clays can hold and absorb water, thus adding weight and pressure to your foundation wall.
| 7. |
Mud/Clays lack quality compared to our Slurrys, which are made of crushed lime stone.
"In 15 years I have never done a recall on another company that used a crushed limestone slurry mixture."
