Foundation Repair (foundation underpinning)

It's a fact that 100% of your home rests on your foundation.

Foundation RepairMany foundations rest on soils relatively near to the surface; soils that are very susceptible to breakdown and other conditions brought by Mother Nature.

The good news is that, in spite of many destructive elements, long-term stability for your home's foundation can still be achieved. Pro Foundation Technology has many years of experience in doing just that. In many situations solid foundation support can be established by extending the support system of your foundation to a greater depth . . . to a more stable layer that is less likely to settle and shift. (see diagram below). One method to accomplish this is referred to as foundation underpinning; a very wise investment for the long-term stability of your home.

Foundation underpinning is a process we use to solidify the support system of an existing foundation. This is accomplished by extending the foundation vertically to the load bearing stratum that can be found below the surface using push piers. This stratum is much more stable than the current support of the foundation.

Foundation UnderpinningWhen correctly designed and installed foundation underpinning provides the basis for lifting of the underpinned structure to its original or desired position and also provides vertical support that can eliminate settling of the underpinned structure in the future.

For many of us, our home is our largest investment. As we all know, Mother Nature can challenge the stability of our homes. For example; - Are your walls bowing?
- Will your windows no longer open?
- Are your doors sticking
